Can you see the peak of snow laden mountain peeking in between the valleys? That is the top of snow covered Himalayas. The best place in Bhutan to see snow covered Himalayas is Dochula Pass, a beautiful mountain pass only 20 km from Thimphu. Unfortunately the day I went to Dochula Pass, the density of the fog was so heavy that I could barely see a person 5 ft away from me. I absolutely missed the opportunity to experience beautiful Himalayas from Dochula Pass. Even after that I must say the place is mystically beautiful. So if you are in Thimphu, don’t miss visiting Dochula Pass.
